Operating Principles

During conveying operation of the conveyor system the closing element is driven next to the opening and is retained there by means of the hold-open device (magnetic clamp).The pipe or channel element arranged in the extension of the closing element connects the conveyor system. 

In the event of fire detection or at the end of the conveying operation the conveying pipe is separated, namely delayed in time (up to 120 sec.) with the closing operation of the CSS. The opening is sealed all-over, four-sided overlapping without remaining openings. 

In case of a motor-driven design all functions can be operated by remote control via control of the hold-open device, the local manual push button on the CSS or by means of the conveyor system control.
