Operating Principles

During conveying operation of the conveyor system the closing element is driven next to the opening and is retained there by means of the hold-open device (magnetic clamp).The pipe or channel system arranged in the extension of the closing element connects the conveyor system.

In the event of fire detection or at the end of the conveying operation the conveying pipe is separated by means of axially displaceable segments integrated in the closing element, and that delayed in time (up to 120 sec.) with the closing operation of the CSS. The separation is controlled through the movement of the closing element. In case of a motor-driven design all functions can be operated by remote control via control of the hold-open device, the local  manual push button on the CSS or by means of the conveyor system control.

Additional Equipment

In the extension of the closing element axially movable pipe segments are arranged, which dependent on the position of the closing element through its movement can connect the piping or channel plant when in open position. The conveyor cross section of the pipe or channel system is 100 % free. The conveying flow is not interfered. For operating the pipe sealing elements no additional power is needed. Sealing happens automatically along with the leaf movement of the closing element.
