Operating principles 

For this conveyor system shutter the closing element is designed in the form of revolving leaves. The CSS can be designed as a single- or double-leaves shutter. The profile of the conveyor system is protected by a specific sleeve mounted on the revolving leaves.

During conveying operation the revolving leaves are located in a position of at minimum 90° laterally next to the opening. The revolving leaves are retained by the hold-open device (magnetic clamp). 

In the event of fire detection the revolving leaves are moved as close as possible to the continuous conveyor system driven by mechanically stored energy. The closing element seals the opening three-sided overlapping in T90/EI90. Remaining openings are closed under the effect of fire.  

In case of a motor-driven design all functions can be operated by remote control via control of the hold-open device, the local manual push button on the CSS or by means of the conveyor system control.
